L’Opera Le Plafond de Chagall- Shipping note: Freight, crating and surcharge shipping fees will apply due to oversize.

This is a vibrant and poetic work derived from his monumental ceiling mural for the Palais Garnier (Paris Opera), unveiled in 1964. This lithograph captures a detail from the mural, focusing on the iconic lovers Romeo and Juliet, who are depicted in a tender embrace, floating above the Parisian skyline. Surrounding them are notable landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde, blending the romantic narrative with the city’s cultural heritage. The lithograph was produced under Chagall’s supervision by master printer Charles Sorlier at the renowned Mourlot studio in Paris.
